ASSET
EVALUATION
- Geologic Consultant to an engineering group doing reserve evaluation on three gas fields in the Burgos Basin of Mexico.
- Geologic Consultant to engineering group which was retained by an
multi-national company to evaluate, for potential acquisition, natural
gas and oil assets in the Nile Delta region of Egypt and Cook Mountain
trend of Southeast Texas.

for a block in the Gulf of Thailand containing 4 producing areas (over
400 wells) and 2 delineated areas awaiting infrastructure placement
and development drilling.
- Geologic Consultant to an engineering group doing reserve estimation
for a newly discovered gas and condensate field offshore Brazil, producing
from Jurassic Age fluvial and eolian facies.

core asset covering parts of 4 counties and including over 4,000 producing
wells, for a major independent in the Southeastern Midland Basin of
Texas.

EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT
- Jurassic Prospect East Texas
Generated a prospect covering approximately 10,000 acres based on subsurface
control, seismic, offset production and a pre-fracture stimulation
test in the key well. Apache Corporation acquired
the property in 2002 and drilled and completed
a well that has 65 feet of pay in the Cotton Valley Lime. Apache has
drilled 6 wells in the area to date, 5 of which are successful completions
in the Cotton Valley Lime, with potential pay behind pipe in the
Cotton Valley and Bossier sands. Apache will spud a seventh well
by the end of the 2nd quarter 2006. Apache controls over 7,000 acres
on this prospect.
- Stockman Field Area - Shelby County, Texas
Calvin was instrumental in negotiating an approximate 7,000 acre
farm-out from a major independent oil & gas company. Calvin and
its’ partners have re-entered 1 well and drilled 3 additional
wells on this prospect, one of which has been completed in the Upper
and Lower Cotton Valley sands. Two of the other wells are completed
in the Travis Peak. An 11,000 foot well to test the Travis Peak and
Cotton Valley sands is currently drilling.
- Upper Texas Coalbed Methane Project
Calvin and its partner negotiated an exploration area agreement that
covered over 3,500 square miles and built a database that incorporated
geologic, geophysical, land and engineering data on several thousand
wells. The database was used to develop multiple computerized maps
and cross-sections that led to the drilling of a successful coalbed
methane test in late 2000.
- Cedar Springs Prospect - Upshur County, Texas
Generated 6,000 acre prospect which was based on the relation between
pre-fracture stimulation flow test of Cotton Valley "Taylor" Sand
interval in key well and proven producing interval in Cedar Springs
Field. Sold prospect to Bannon Energy Corporation. Bannon utilized
information in sale of 87.5% working interest in this prospect and
Wright Mountain Prospect to Lomak Petroleum Inc. Bannon had capital
expenditures of less than $2 MM for these two prospects and realized
net gain of almost $8 MM from sale, including retention of a 12.5%
working interest.
- Bald Prairie Field - Robertson County, Texas
Evaluated the geologic, engineering and economic potential for acquisition
of interests in 38 producing wells owned and operated by Dalen Resources.
Integrated all data into report that was presented to Aquila Resources.
Aquila subsequently made offer of approximately $13 million dollars
to Dalen.
